Welcome to the Euroa Arboretum, a place where the restoration of native woodlands habitats is also contributing to the resilience of the Taungurung story.  Spend quality time with our guides who share the ways in which cultural life, both traditional and contemporary, is inextricably linked to biik (Country). Feel the pride we have in looking after Country and Culture for future generations.

We commence with a Welcome and grounding activity, followed by a guided walk along the daanak trail to share stories of seasonal native plant species and their uses for food, medicine and cultural practice.  Being part of this cultural experience is about planting the seeds that will strengthen our culture: inspiring and educating our youth, celebrating our Taungurung language, reviving cultural practices on biik and celebrating the positive community impact of caring for biik. 

Inclusions:  guided one-hour cultural walk at the Euroa Arboretum with seasonal bush food tastings, morning tea, a culturally safe yarning circle with our guides to ask questions.
